The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:
- Ensure co-ordination between the different engineering disciplines, ensuring synergies and seamless integration.
- Demonstration of leadership and sound technical experience when dealing with multidisciplinary teams within a task force is a prerequisite.
- Lead all disciplines involved with task force, provide and define rules to ensure all technical discussions related to project engineering activities are delivered on time.
- Ensure that project planning, cost control and manpower forecasting remain within budget and schedule.
- Ensure that all technical bid evaluations are reviewed and maintained within budget and schedule constraints.
- Elaborate, review and define problems related to monthly vendor reports regarding all engineering activities.
- Provide interface and liaison with engineering staff, technical and plant operating personnel seconded from the client and from the licensor.
- Provide liaison with project manager and cost controller. Maintain and foster harmonious relationships between task force, sub contractors and client.
- Anticipate engineering problems and implement workable solutions.
- Monitor and provide engineering feedback to the task force and project manager.
- It would be required that the candidate manages small project independently within the company system and procedures as and when required.
