Inventory Operations Manager

A D2C-powered drink company dedicated to supporting new mothers on their breastfeeding journey with Galactagogue products is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Inventory Operations Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity. As the Inventory Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing various aspects of our inventory management while also taking on additional responsibilities related to logistics, order processing, and buyer communication. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the smooth functioning of our inventory operations.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory levels, including forecasting and ordering new supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Implementation of New Logistics Processes: Work closely with the team to implement new logistics-related processes on our website, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience.
• Freight Booking: Handle freight bookings for inbound shipments to our warehouse and outbound shipments to retailers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Buyer Communication: Establish and maintain regular communication with buyers, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Purchase Order Processing: Receive and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
• Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASN): Prepare and send ASNs, packing lists, and all other relevant PO information to ensure smooth order processing.
• Retailer Database Management: Input new retailers into the Synqware system, keeping the database up-to-date and accurate.
• Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align inventory management with overall business objectives.
• Research: Research products on Alibaba products, reach out to suppliers, get samples, place orders, etc.

Requirements:

• Previous Inventory Operations Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, and order processing.
• Exceptional organizational skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with buyers and collaborating with team members.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate order processing and inventory tracking.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems to streamline operations.
• A proactive approach to resolving challenges and finding innovative solutions to improve processes.

Additional Details:

• Hours per Week: The position requires a full-time commitment with 40 hours of work per week.
• Time Zone: The role operates within Central Standard Time (CST) and Eastern Standard Time (EST) time zones.
