Job Description
The candidate will manage a team of 18 people based in Cape Town (SA), 2 in Johannesburg and 3 in Europe.
The successful candidate will plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
The candidate will also be responsible for:
- Manage performance on overall technical support
- Budgeting and cost management
- Development of internal software
- Global Reporting
- Training, including training manuals and procedures
Skills and Competencies:
- Minimum of 4 years post Matric studies (Business School/University Degree or equivalent experience).
- At least 3 years working Project Management experience in a managerial position within an International environment.
- Ability to Manage multiple Projects at all levels
- Work under pressure and in a changing environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Previous experience of a technical environment will be an advantage
- Resource planning and optimisation
- People Management
- Fluent in English and able to speak and understand French as a second language will be an advantage
