Job Summary
The Scrum master will be the facilitator for a product development team that uses scrum/agile as the development methodology. The scrum master will lead a team that ensures self-organisation and the ability to make changes quickly. The role will ensure that agile principles and concept are adhered to ensure effective preparation of the product backlog, sprint backlog and burn down charts.
Job Description
- Maintain an oversight on each project with Model Development and Model Implementation teams of current work and future work. Horizon current to two years ahead.
- Bi-weekly collation of Models Stand-up Presentation for Chief Credit Officer CIB
- Monthly collation of Models Steering Committee pack for SteerCo meeting
- Portfolio budget control maintaining a financial tracking and forecast spreadsheet.
- Forecast is for the portfolio for that years agreed Book of Work.
- Agree the projects and resourcing to accomplish the work with the Head of Models, Head of Implementation and Data, and each system owner.
- Update Models Financials spreadsheet:
At named resource level per contract:
- Add new purchase orders raised.
- Track Actual spend per month and remaining commitments per purchase order.
- When a contract ends liaise with Accounts Payable to close out old purchase orders to ensure funds released back to available
- Update forecast to show project spend per vendor per resource as the year progresses.
- Weekly:
- Update Weekly Updates section with portfolio progress per project.
- Review Milestone section and verify still on-track
- Review CRAIDs and verify risks still valid etc.
- Monthly:
- Review Resource assignments allocation and allocation percentages
- Submit Resource attestation by month-end
- Update PlanEx forecast and submit funding release request quarterly.
- Quarterly:
- Review PlanEx financials verifying Funds Release section is in line with above financial forecast.
- Submit Quarterly funds release request ad track with PMO
- Create high-level project plan for each active model implementation. Tasks, resource allocation, dependencies, and constraints
- Obtain agreements on plan from each up and down stream system or team involved.
- Establish project standups for each active model implementation
- Set up the Tasks board in team allocation tickets to each member with due dates.
- Review tickets at each standup confirm progress, blockers, follow-up actions, escalations required Update tickets with comments
- Set up Expert Group meetings:
- Go through the model specification, changes to business process, and changes to source systems.
- Should be at least weekly. Team members are Models Owners and SMEs along with the Model team and source system experts.
- Take minutes and confirm action items to add to project tasks.
- Ensure weekly Models Implementation overview takes place run by Implementation Head. Use feedback to verify updates to the stand-up pack.
