Neighbourhood Creative (NBHD) is a privately owned, full-service creative agency dedicated to delivering innovative and impactful solutions for our clients. As we have grown, we have come to play an integral role in New Product Development (NPD) for certain clients and are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our team in this capacity. This role presents an exciting opportunity to drive projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the successful execution and timely delivery of creative outputs.

Position Overview: As a Project Manager, you will be a key player in orchestrating and overseeing projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, motivate team members to meet deadlines and contribute towards creating compelling and effective brands, brand positioning, and packaging. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in project management within the advertising or branding industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Launch Planning and Execution:
- Develop (with our input) and implement comprehensive project plans and timelines for each new products or range being developed throughout the year.
- Collaborate with creative, traffic, client services teams and client to ensure seamless project execution.
- Deadline Management:
- Set and manage realistic project timelines, ensuring adherence to the product rollout schedules.
- Proactively chase client for feedback and information to ensure they dont delay our projects or impact the timelines.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and accountability-driven culture.
- Motivate team members to deliver high-quality work on time and within scope.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess project risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Ensure the team is equipped to handle unforeseen challenges and changes in project scope.
- Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication within the project team and with clients.
- Provide regular project status updates, highlighting achievements, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) in project management, preferably within an advertising agency.
- Familiarity with advertising campaign development and production processes.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Salary: R40 000.00 and commensurate with experience, skills and training.
