Job Description:

Our client is seeking a proficient and experienced Data Project Manager to oversee and manage complex data reconciliation builds. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, from sourcing data from multiple statements to integrating it into core systems and finally reporting to clients or regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Efficiently manage the entire lifecycle of data reconciliation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
• Data Reconciliation: Oversee the reconciliation of complex data sets from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout the process.
• Integration: Coordinate the integration of reconciled data into core systems, ensuring seamless compatibility and functionality.
• Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on data reconciliation outcomes, presenting findings to clients or regulatory bodies as required.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with internal teams, external vendors, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment of project goals and deliverables.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues associated with data reconciliation projects and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
• Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to validate the accuracy and reliability of reconciled data.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in project management, specifically in data reconciliation projects.
• Strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to data management.
