Job Duties
- Plan, execute, and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
- Draught and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
- Track project milestones and deliverables
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans
- Project management qualification or certification
- MBA
Relevant degree
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the Project Manager must have worked on business intagrations projects
Knowledge And Skills
- Structured approach to project management
- Diplomatic communication style
- Detail-oriented with an eye for accuracy
- Ability to build strong relationships with executives and senior line managers
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, JIRA, and Trello
- Additional project management certifications
- Experience in Agile methodology
This role is based in Cape Town, South Africa. The Project Manager (Business Integration) is expected to work full-time hours on a contract basis. Occasional travel may be required for project meetings or stakeholder engagements.
