- Responsible for a wide spectrum of infrastructure project work, with a major emphasis on efforts related to the delivery of core facilities strategy and infrastructure deployment.
- This role would suit someone with extensive experience of with large scale data centres, facility design, strategy, and best practice.
- Specific experience in Green-Field and Brown-Field Builds, consolidations exiting infrastructure (Revamping of a single DC Room into separate rooms A and B) and or relocation is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-year degree/diploma (Engineering, Technology or equivalent with strong emphasis on systems, controls, and quality)
- Certification: PMBOK, Prince II or any other recognised project management Certification (required) Agile.

- Minimum of 7 years' experience project management experience, in the Telecommunications or associated industry; with data centre build experience and supervising/managing others
- Minimum of 10 years business or network operational experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 large scale projects implemented successfully of the past 7 years
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership responsibility managing medium to large teams and influencing senior level management key stakeholders.
- Develop a deep and clear understanding of the divisional environment and requirements. Work with the regional teams including the planning and engineering teams to identify facility infrastructure requirements to enable their business plan objectives.
- Ensure that all infrastructure projects have well defined objectives, resourcing, and milestones.
- Effectively highlight and communicate dependencies, risks and escalate timeously for resolution.
- Engage and collaborate with technical teams to define and document the technical scope, business cases for approval to ensure that the scope of the projects align with business priorities.
- Adherence to the organisational delivery framework for capital expenditure projects and reports project progress (capital commitments, budget forecast/cash flows, capitalisation.
- Adherence to the organisational procurement and legal delivery frameworks for capital expenditure projects.
- Manage all project/program level risks, issues and interdependencies ensuring appropriate escalation to achieve timeous resolution.
- Provide technical expertise in planning, execution and leadership of Capital projects and initiatives.

- Setup up budget tracker, monitor, reporting, forecasting etc.
- Collaborate with Technology financial controller, finance reps on budgeting and management of purchase orders, invoice, and payments.
- Evaluates progress against key performance drivers and assess organisational opportunities and risks.
- Prepares project reports and presentations for organisational committees, including management and project steering committees.
