As part of our development, we are looking to strengthen our Infrastructure Department and are looking for an Infrastructure Officer looking for new challenges within a dynamic and human focused company.
| SUMMARY
The main mission of the Project officer in the infrastructure department, is to manage all the necessary tasks and actions to open, run and maintain the infrastructure of the offices. It requires combining a variety of skills and areas of knowledge to be effective and performing.
The Project Officer will have to perform activities within a project environment to reach the expected and recognized companys standards.
| RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Project Officer you will be responsible for:
- Planning the opening of new infrastructures:
Procurement of I.T and furniture materials ;
Logistics of I.T and furniture materials for openings ;
Inventory and safekeeping of all materials been shipped and onsite ;
Manage the commissioning of biometric cabins and equipment with ministry ;
Shortlist construction companies, signage companies etc. ;
Contact property agents and network for office hunt ;
Manage physical onsite visits to properties for infrastructure openings.
- Following closely the opening of new infrastructures:
Manage an onsite follow up with all suppliers, construction companies, signage
companies etc. ;
Supervise the installation of all furniture ;
Supervise the installation of biometric equipments for new infrastructures and inventory it ;
Supervise the installation of alarm and fire fighting equipment ;
Supervise the installation and position of signage ;
- Managing the routing and security of goods:
Dealing with trucking companies, warehousing companies and ocean / air freight
companies ;
Dealing with security to secure onsite materials and equipment.
- Ensuring the well-being of the company infrastructures :
standards ;
Manage the logistics of materials ;
Liaise with the operations managers, and help them to solve all issues they may face ;
Update the infrastructures according to the developments of the company.
- Realizing reports to management and other departments:
Provide a daily follow up the the management of the company.
