Your opportunity
- Maintain effective working relationships between the GPLU, MHHS, Northern Queensland Primary Health Network, Streamliners and other key stakeholders.
- High level administration skills, including Microsoft word and excel skills.
- Communicates effectively to stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of scope, content and deadlines are maintained.
- Assist and supports the GPLU Team with administration support.
- Assists with key stakeholder engagement.
- Assist in maintaining key evaluation KPIs.
- Assist with IT integration and data monitoring for all Integrated Health projects.
- Attend meetings and education events relevant to Integrated Health.
- Provide administrative support to the General Practice Liaison Officer (GPLO) with Key Performance Indicator delivery and maintenance of databases relevant to position
The General Practice Liaison Unit (GPLU) sits within the Perioperative, Women's Health and Ambulatory Care Service at the Mackay Base Hospital (MBH). The GPLU works across the MHHS to improve the integration between the hospital and primary health care setting, ensuring care is integrated across the entire patient journey.
Mackay Hospital and Health Service has six hospitals, two multi-purpose health services and four community health centres that employ more than 3, 300 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90, 000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
