Property Financial Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Property Administrator / Financial Bookkeeper to manage and oversee a junior staff member. The role requires expertise in property management, financial bookkeeping, and a working knowledge of Sage. The ideal candidate should also be confident in handling client communications regarding outstanding payments and have experience with tax and VAT submissions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day property management operations.
  • Supervise a junior property administrator.
  • Handle tax and VAT submissions accurately and timely.
  • Contact clients for outstanding payments.
  • Coordinate property maintenance and repairs.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries and ensure tenant satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate financial records using Sage software.
  • Assist with budget management and ensure property compliance with legal and financial regulations.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in property management and financial bookkeeping.
  • Strong proficiency in Sage accounting software.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of tax and VAT processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for client follow-ups.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to oversee a junior staff member.
  • Availability for an immediate start.
Additional Information:
  • This is a half-day role, offered initially as a 6-month contract, with the possibility of a permanent position.
  • The position is based in Centurion.
  • Salary: R14, 000 per month (negotiable based on experience).
