We are seeking a proactive Property Administrator / Financial Bookkeeper to manage and oversee a junior staff member. The role requires expertise in property management, financial bookkeeping, and a working knowledge of Sage. The ideal candidate should also be confident in handling client communications regarding outstanding payments and have experience with tax and VAT submissions. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day property management operations.
- Supervise a junior property administrator.
- Handle tax and VAT submissions accurately and timely.
- Contact clients for outstanding payments.
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs.
- Respond to tenant inquiries and ensure tenant satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate financial records using Sage software.
- Assist with budget management and ensure property compliance with legal and financial regulations.
- Proven experience in property management and financial bookkeeping.
- Strong proficiency in Sage accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of tax and VAT processes.
- Excellent communication skills for client follow-ups.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to oversee a junior staff member.
- Availability for an immediate start.
- This is a half-day role, offered initially as a 6-month contract, with the possibility of a permanent position.

- Salary: R14, 000 per month (negotiable based on experience).
