Apex Group are looking for a candidate to join the Proposal Management Team as a Proposal Manager reporting directly into the Head of Proposal Management in the UK. The successful candidate will be working alongside internal stakeholders across the Group to ensure high quality proposals are delivered in a timely manner.
The purpose of the Proposal Management Team is to provide resources, tools, and sales content helping to deliver high quality proposals efficiently and faster by becoming a centre of excellence for proposal management.
The Role & Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales to ensure proposals are tailored to the clients culture, values, language, strategy, and requirements.
- Managing the global coordination and project management of responses for proposals in line with global proposal process
- Work with internal stakeholders to manage the timely completion of deliverables within the agreed deadline.
- Where possible, join sales in initial client scoping call to fully understand client requirements and aid discovery.
- Provide insights leveraging knowledge gained from previous proposals to aid discovery.
- Collecting feedback from internal stakeholders after delivery of the proposal.
- Responsible for ongoing enrichment of the sales content in the proposal library and enhancing responses for proposals.
- Responsible for enhancing knowledge of products and services within the Apex Group and awareness of industry trends.
- Contribute towards ongoing improvement of the Proposal Management Team towards becoming a centre of excellence for proposal management.
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong, relevant industry experience in proposal management.
- High-level understanding of alternative fund service offering.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.
- English speaker but additional languages beneficial.
- Organized, pro-active, and willing to learn and take on new tasks.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel) and industry tools for proposal software.
- Experienced in creating presentations to a high standard using MS PowerPoint.
- A high level of visibility within a large organisation on an upwards trajectory.
- The ability to define strategic proposal processes to drive innovation and have a tangible impact on the business.

- Exposure to all aspects of the business, cross-jurisdiction and to working with senior management directly.
