Our Business Development team supports PwC and its clients by developing sales strategies, executing tactics, and securing the resources required to close sales opportunities. As part of the team, youll be managing sales pursuits and the sales pipeline, helping the account team in identifying, qualifying and closing sales leads, and coordinating the utilisation of all account management methodology and business development tools.

Role Summary:

The Senior Pursuit Coach plays a key role in the Clients and Markets Local Activation Hub, to provide pursuit coaching, pitch coaching, processes and management of multi-territory and multi- service line proposal responses, and guiding cross-functional teams in new ways of working.

The efforts will be focused on guiding the teams to deliver high impact, brand-defining propositions and visual assets to our clients. By immersing yourself in the opportunity you will bring fresh, original, and strategic perspectives to the business development and proposal teams.

As part of the Local Activation Hub (LAH) team, primarily, the individual will work within the Activation Hub to support opportunities, proposal development, and management on strategic opportunities across Advisory. The pursuit coach will also work across functional teams to coordinate content development and facilitate resource needs across opportunities, locally and with the Global team. Pursuit Coach will drive opportunities from pre-RFP to delivery and orals presentations. The secondary role of the individual will be to support on strategic business development campaign initiatives across Advisory.

Qualifications / Certifications required:

Undergraduate Degree (e.g, BA, BS) or equivalent experience

Experience required:

Minimum of 7 years experience in pursuit/ BD management

Responsibilities of role:
  • Effectively lead teams on live proposals to coordinate proposal development, submission and negotiation
  • Execute firm standardized proposal processes and management to coordinate multi-territory proposal responses
  • Think strategically about the opportunity and the client to ensure dynamic win themes are developed and presented throughout the document
  • Organize and collaborate with individuals at all levels of seniority
  • Coordinate resources (writers, designers, document production, technical subject matter specialists, etc.) to drive the efficient development of
    proposals and business development initiatives.
  • Effectively execute on campaign initiatives required for business development
  • Contribute to the upskilling and development of proposal coordinators within the team
  • Share leading practices with LAH team.
  • Contribute to leadership dashboards and management reports, as well as other ad hoc requests for presentations

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills, as demonstrated in prior roles.

  • Good awareness of firms digital tools and assets and an understanding of how to bring these solutions to opportunity teams
