Summary Of Key Responsbilities

Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Company ISO 9001 system on site whilst also performing various necessary quality control related to duties, ensuring quality conformance to specifications, designs and customer requirements. Must provide advice and implement quality assurance and control measures and perform administrative activities such as checking and completing all QA and QC documentation.

Required Minimum Education / Qualifications And Work Experience

Minimum Education Grade 12 2-year tertiary education, diploma technical / technical trade qualification Additional Qualifications Experience and knowledge in Quality with ISO 9001 QMS and Auditing completed courses, experience in construction of HV transmission lines/ Substations, Renewable energy, Battery energy storage solutions (BESS), Computer Literacy and a valid driver's license.

Minimum Work Experience

5 years minimum QA and QC practical experience within a construction environment

Requirements

Effective written and verbal communication with all interested parties (internal & external)
SHEQ observation and coaching (SOC's) weekly;
Report complaints (internal and external)
Ensure good relation with Clients and all internal interested parties and build on it;
Compile/ review/ revise Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP), Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), and Quality Control Sheets (QCS's) according to Client requirements;
Compile data pack index for material inspection and executed work according to Client requirements in conjunction with Construction Manager and Construction Supervisor;
Obtain the approval signatures of all parties involved on the PQMP, QCP, QCS's, Material data packs, etc.;
Review, update PQMP, ITP, QCS's and material data packs;
Document control as per Client and Company requirements;
Report status and revision needs to PQMP, ITP's, QCS's, data packs, etc., with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, etc.
Continuously update the internal project master list for quality documentation;
Understanding quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC) and quality management (QM); ? Material inspection at suppliers and on site based on applicable experience and -qualifications;
Internal ISO9001 audits;
Record control for all quality related documentation
