Purpose of Job
To ensure that the technical QA/QC fields of expertise in Civil Engineering Maintenance are executed according to the specifications and agreed scope of work. Verification of quality and quantity of service delivered safely by service providers through term agreements. Provide support to QA/QC Officers Civil Engineering Maintenance and Specialists. Provide advice and guidance to Business Partners or End Users (e.g. Sasol energy operation and Sasol mining) in areas of technical fields of expertise. Execution of shutdown and maintenance work. Assist in maintenance project execution. The scope typically includes but is not limited to the following;
- structural concrete,
- structural steel,
- earthworks and excavation,
- roads and storm water maintenance Fencing
- bulk network maintenance of potable water and domestic sewer systems and other municipal services,
- lifting stations,
- fireproofing and corrosive coatings,
- building and structural asset maintenance,
- Administrative processes linked to the above and work management process

Formal Education: Civil Engineering S4 (University of Technology) or Civil Engineering N6 (College/FET)
