- Will be responsible for performing assessments, documentation, and organization tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality control function and ensure that suppliers and manufacturers meet the basic quality standards.
- To ensure that Health and Safety protocols are adhered to by all employees
- Implement quality principles and monitor quality system
- Verify QC aspect of production (in conjunction with production supervisor)
- Daily warehouse walkarounds/inspections
- Weekly GMP reports on the facility
- Document control of quality processes
- Ensure SOP's reflect current business dynamics
- Generate and close all NCRs.
- Control traceability of all materials
- Notify and assist with(mock) recall processes
- Onsite liaison for internal audits
- Pest Control programme verification/validation (in conjunction with warehouse team)
- Manage micro sampling of swabs of equipment and personnel, WIP, finished goods and raw materials
- Identify improvements that could be made to the FSMS daily operations
- Analyze, investigate and resolve customer complaints
- Site FSMS training facilitator
- Prepare for audits (internal and external)
- Reviewing HACCP, TACCP and VACCP studies
- Validation studies, where required
- Liaise with warehouse and logistics on QC related matters
- Liaise with service providers on QC related matters
- Maintain and build supplier and customer relations with regards to QC
- Control of internal documents and file sharing (Specs, PIFs, supplier certificates etc.)
- Customer liaison on QC related matters and document requests
- Maintenance of COAs and supplier QC documentation as required (specs, Halaal, Kosher, R638, 3rd party certification)
