Johannesburg - 5 month contract - Hybrid Opportunity
A leading Financial Services Company is looking to contract a Quality Engineer to be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of their software products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Testing Strategies and ensure that software meets the highest standards of quality
- Conduct Testing and Analysis and ensure Compliance and Standards Stakeholder Engagements
- Understand and implement Test Automation and Automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and frameworks
- Work closely with cross-functional teams i.e. Developers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, improve processes
- Training and Mentorship
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), software testing methodologies and SAFe agile principles.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working in an Agile environment
