A construction company based in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town, is urgently looking for a Quantity Surveying intern to join their QS team.
The candidate will enjoy a wide spectrum of valuable experience working directly with the management team of various project currently runnng in the Western Cape.
Job responsibilities:
- Assisting senior Quantity Surveyors with site liasion
- Taking off measurements from plans
- Acquiring quotes from sub-contractors
- Measuring on site
- Assiting Senior Quantity Surveyors with Contract administration
- Remeasuring for Monthly Payment valuations
Job requirements:
- Must be fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Must be computer literate
- Must have sound communication skills
- Willing to assist and go the extra mile
- Must have own transport and a valid drivers license
- Salary will be market related / negotiable
