An exciting opportunity exists for a Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to lead the coordination of clinical practices and person-centred nursing care at the Minor Injury and Illness Centre (MIIC) and for the Sunshine Coast Sexual Health & HIV Service.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Extensive understanding of and ability to apply the necessary skills and public health obligations and requirements of clinicians in the prevention of disease and promotion of safe behaviours in the development of strategies to support contact tracing.
- High level knowledge and experience of relevant legislation, standards, policies and procedures and contemporary approaches to sexual health treatment, management and care.
- High level knowledge and experience of contemporary approaches to contact tracing, preferably of STIs.
- Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety and ethical behaviour.
- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces
