SCP Radiology Panorama is looking for a diagnostic radiographer to start working 1 July 2017.
Job requirements:
- National Diploma or Degree Diagnostic Radiographer.
- Registered with the HPCSA as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
- Minimum of 2 years post qualification full time experience in radiography.
- CT experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic Life Support certificate.
- South African citizenship or valid South African work permit.
- Knowledge of and ability to perform Radiography QA and all QC tests.
- Good interpersonal skills with patients, colleagues, referring physicians and radiologists.
Job responsibilities:
- Perform a diagnostic radiography service which includes screening and assisting with interventional work.
- Deliver images of diagnostic quality.
- Perform duties as a general radiographer during weekend and after hour shifts.
- Supervise diagnostic radiography students when applicable.
- Compliance with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes as required by HPCSA.
- Aid in SCP Radiology business planning and marketing.
- Report to Head of Department.
