Requirements

Matric Completed
Experience in sales or real estate or passionate about real estate
Own laptop
Own transport
Valid License
Passionate, professional, and organised
Reliable, detail-oriented, and thrives under pressure
Proactive, strong in communication and problem-solving

The salary breakdown is as follows:

Average value of closed deals per month range from around R3 million to R10+ Million per month.

An agent's commission on a R2, 500, 000 sale would typically look as follows:

Single agent @ 100% of agent team commission = R62, 500
Team of 3 agents (on a single property):

Senior agent @ 50% = R31, 2500
Junior agent @ 25% = R15, 625
Junior agent @ 25% = R15, 625

The level of skill and experience and/or natural aptitude of the broker and their subsequent value to the agent team will determine their share of the 50% agent team commission. It's also worth noting that often someone comes in on a smaller split of around 25% and then a few months after gaining some experience will take on more responsibility and jump to 35 - 50% for example.
