Our company in Plattekloof is looking for a young, motivated, organised and computer literate receptionist/admin assistant.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch break.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member
- Take and distribute accurate messages
- Update and maintain databases such as mailing lists, contact lists and client information
- Co-ordinate and organize appointments and meetings
- Monitor and maintain office supplies
- Help keeping kitchen clean and tidy
- Direct visitors/clients and make coffee/tea for meetings
- Assisting with checking/following up on invoices/payments
- Scanning & email documents, invoices and statements to customers
- Ordering goods from suppliers
- Arrange courier collections/deliveries
- Calling customers & suppliers
- Any other general admin duties
Requirements
- High School Matric or Diploma
- Have at least 6 months reception/admin experience
- Own reliable transport and valid driver’s licence
- No criminal record
- Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Numeracy and literacy skills
- Experience working on Apple Mac computer
- Organisation and planning skills
- Well-spoken telephonic manner
- Work management and prioritising skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (Read, Write, Speak)
- Problem solving ability and paying attention to detail
- Work well in a team and individually
- Be presentable
- Willing to learn
Salary: R6,000 per month + Medical aid.
Salary negotiable depending on experience and skills.
