Receives and welcome walk-in clients and visitors and to answer and redirect calls that supports the image of the client image and delivery.
General administrative tasks and support in terms of front desk support and procurement administration will also form part of this position as part of support to the facility management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Notifies company personnel of visitors arrival.
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories
- Assist the security team by following procedures as per client site requirements.
- Ensures a safe and clean reception area in line with client requirements
- Supports continuity among teams members by documenting and communication key actions, and all irregularities.
- Work closely with internal customers and notify them of visitors and incoming calls.
- Respond appropriately to calls from customers, answer or redirect questions where required and assist visitors. Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival.
Per approval framework. Guidance would be required to take decisions of a general nature from which specific judgment can be made to meet a new situation not yet encountered.
Education Required
- Grade 12
- 2 years relevant experience in an administrative environment.
- Commercial Building (Front Desk) experience will be an advantage
- Computer literacy (MS Office, particularly Outlook and Word, Excel);
