Our client, in the Randburg, sandton and roodepoort area, requires a Recovery & Litigation Coordinator to work on a full-time and permanent basis.
Responsibilities
Managing own workload ensuring Q/A standards are met.
Work actively with minimal supervision recovering monies on both Return of Goods claims and Shortfall & Liability claims following the sale of goods.
To review, assess and allocate cases to correct categories and to action them and deal with all related activities i.e. inbound and outbound calls and all correspondence promptly and efficiently.
Communicate effectively with customers, third parties, solicitors and debt management companies resolving queries or complaints and pro-actively working to recover losses.
Negotiate and agree affordable payment arrangements wherever possible and identify opportunities to agree discounted special settlements within defined guidelines. To process all related card and direct cheque payments ensuring prompt posting to customer accounts.
Qualifications
Good PC skills - competent using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Minimum qualification is standard 12 or equivalent
Good negotiating & decision making skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize own workload
Skills and Knowledge
Good communication and letter writing skills
Self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement & efficiency
Knowledge of collection and litigation processes is an advantage
A working knowledge of consumer credit with regulations.
Experience in a collection or customer service environment
Inexperience coordinators are welcome to apply
Candidates must have a good credit history to be considered. You will be required to undergo a credit check prior to interview.
Salary from R2000-R17500 per month (depended on experience). Plus commission
