Responsibilities:
- Communication directly with client
- Monthly management account reconciliations
- VAT reconciliations
- Review and complete VAT 201 returns
- Processing of payroll and calculation of employee taxes (Simplepay)
- EMP201 completions
- Xero processing / reconciliations
- Compilation of Financial Statements
- Training will be provided for Independent reviews
- Calculation of income tax returns
- Ad-hoc admin duties (not limited to the above)
- BCom in Accounting degree or in the process of completion
- Proficiency in English and Afrikaans
- Fresh graduate looking to do articles
- Transfer of articles from current firm (if applicable)
- Team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Deadline driven
