Recruiter - Supply Chain (Logistics, Warehousing, Stores, Purchasing)

Location: Remote; South Africa

Salary
  • Basic Salary: R15 000 pm Gross
  • Connectivity Allowance: R1000 per month
  • Commission Structure:
    • 10% on international permanent placements
    • 10% of the billed EOR fee
    • 10% on local permanent placements
    • 10% of contract value on local contractors
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Recruiter specializing in Supply Chain (Logistics, Warehousing, Stores, Purchasing) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for talent, a strong understanding of the supply chain sector, and a proven track record of successfully filling technical positions. The Recruiter will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and attracting candidates to conducting interviews and managing the hiring process. Proficiency in using ATSs and CRMs is required. We are looking for someone who bills a minimum of R150 000 per month or more in perm fees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Source, attract, and recruit top talent in the supply chain sectors.
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet the company's staffing needs.
    • Utilize various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • Candidate Screening:
    • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
    • Conduct initial phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
    • Administer and interpret technical assessments where applicable.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and preferences.
    • Provide regular updates on recruitment activities and progress.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Job Posting and Advertising:
    • Write and post clear, compelling job descriptions on various job boards and platforms.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of job postings and adjust strategies as needed to attract qualified candidates.
  • Data Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and candidate quality.
  • Compliance and Best Practices:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
    • Continuously improve recruitment processes and strategies.
  • Business Development:
    • Bring new clients onboard by cold calling.
    • Reach out to leads telephonically, by mail, and on LinkedIn.
    • Perform your own candidate referencing.
  • Offer and Contract Negotiations:
    • Negotiate offers and contracts between candidates and clients.
  • Sell Add-On Services:
    • HR/IR Consulting, Payroll, IT support, office space, transport, and parking.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12
  • Minimum of 5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in supply chain sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of technical roles and requirements in logistics, warehousing, stores, and purchasing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using ATSs and CRMs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Incentives
  • Incentive Bonus: If you bill more than R150 000 pm in permanent placement fees, you will be paid an additional 5% commission. i.e., your commission will then be 15%.
  • 13th Cheque: Based on meeting KPIs.
