About You
We are in need of a Recruitment Officer to take the helm of our recruitment endeavors. As a key member of our Human Resources team, you will be entrusted with the crucial task of managing all aspects of recruitment, from sourcing and screening candidates to cultivating relationships with potential hires.
In this role, you'll be the conductor of our recruitment symphony, orchestrating a harmonious blend of candidate attraction, selection, and onboarding processes. With your expertise, we aim to build a team that exemplifies excellence, aligning with our company's vision and values.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective strategies and initiatives to attract top-tier candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand their hiring needs and requirements.
- Source, screen, and evaluate candidates using various channels, such as job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and manage the entire recruitment process, from candidate attraction to onboarding.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for current and future positions.
- Partner with external recruitment agencies and vendors (when necessary).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing an exceptional candidate experience.
- Actively participate in employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation and attract top talent.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
- Analyse data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and make data-driven improvements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and recruitment records in the applicant tracking system.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities and progress to management.
- Continuously seek ways to improve and optimise the recruitment process.
- Participate in networking events, job fairs, and industry conferences to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or in a similar recruitment role would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of recruitment strategies, best practices, and current industry trends.
- Familiarity with various sourcing channels, such as job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks (advantageous).
- Experience utilising applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
- Exceptional interviewing and assessment skills to evaluate candidates' qualifications, cultural fit, and potential.
- Good understanding of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements (advantageous).
- Ability to effectively manage multiple requisitions and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset to gather and analyse recruitment data and metrics for continuous improvement.
- Proactive and creative approach to sourcing and attracting top talent.
- Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and HR team members to understand and meet their talent needs.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to secure offers and close candidates effectively.
- Experience in employer branding and promoting a positive candidate experience is a plus.
- Professional certifications in talent acquisition or recruitment are advantageous.
