A client who provides a service to the petrochemical industry requires an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team. The primary function of the role is to maintain the financial administration of the company to Balance Sheet and to provide administrative assistance to the CEO when required. This is a new role which may grow in the future, as the current CEO plans for retirement. In-office Monday to Friday. R30 000 - R35 000 per month.
Responsibilities:
Capturing from source document (the company uses Pastel)
Preparing Trial Balance and Balance Sheet
Preparing for audits and liaison with auditors
Company payroll on Sage VIP (24 employees)
Inventory management
Asset depreciationDebtors and Creditors Management
Admin assistance and reports for the CEO when required
RequirementsPastel, Sage VIP
High level of Excel proficiency
Valid drivers license
Due to the sensitive nature of the role and company environment, providing an electrical service to the petrochemical industry, only non-smokers are encouraged to apply.
Office hours are Mon-Thurs 8am till 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 4pm.
