Regional Business Director:Nutrition

Our team in Pomona Johannesburg currently has an opening for a Regional Business Director, Region & Division

The successful candidate will be accountable to drive top line growth by managing customer relationships and sales execution in the Sub-Saharan Africa Region.

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure sales targets are met by proactively managing accounts and fostering strong relationships with customers.

Spearhead the development of high-potential C+D customers, guiding them towards becoming A+B customers.

Provide leadership to Field and Inside Sales teams, offering motivation, coaching, and defining deployment strategies.

Formulate and implement business plans tailored to specific regions, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

Maintain business performance metrics such as ideal EBIDA, CRM-level, and Working Capital, while optimizing margins through strategic pricing.

Oversee budgeting, order management, procurement, and inventory control processes.

Identify opportunities for synergy and innovation, fostering new sales channels and value-added services for both existing and prospective customers.

Ensure seamless regional integration of centrally coordinated commercial initiatives.

Cultivate strategic relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the specific industry.

YOUR PROFILE

Matric or NQF Equivalent.

Degree (e.g. Business, BSC, MBA) or similar level of tertiary education)

Minimum 5 years of work experience in selling to large and complex, multi-country/regional customers.

Work Experience In International Sector Settings Preferred.

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Be prepared to travel Regionally and / Internationally.
