Responsibilities
- Implement strategy for business planning, development, HR management, and financial/administrative aspects for the region.
- Drive performance goals aligned with strategic outcomes and foster a high-performance culture.
- Be accountable for the region's overall performance and profitability.
- Adopt and execute an effective marketing strategy for each client and division within the region.
- Pursue marketing opportunities to achieve targeted growth and income.
- Maintain professional and optimal client relationships to ensure sustainability.
- Perform Consulting Engineering tasks such as planning, design, documentation, procurement, contract administration, construction monitoring, and project closeout.
- Uphold a high quality and professional standard in all projects, adhering to technical requirements.
- Assist in resolving technical problems or disputes with contractors, clients, and professional teams.
- Implement and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) across the region.
- Monitor administrative systems to support staff and management in the successful administration of regional operations.
- Regularly visit branches, satellite offices, project sites, and clients to oversee regional activities.
- Ensure effective communication and interfacing between regional staff, other regions, and divisions.
- 15 years of experience in Civil Engineering Consultancy Practice.
- Expertise in Water and Sanitation, including Bulk Water and Sanitation services.
- Proficiency in Contract Administration with NEC3/4 experience being beneficial.
- Experience with General Municipal and Site Services is advantageous.
- Must hold a BSc and be a Pr Eng registered with ECSA.
- PrCPM registration is a plus.
