We are recruiting for a Regional Manager based in Klerksdorp to join an agricultural retail company embracing traditional values and propelled by modern solutions. The ideal candidate should have the capacity to thrive under pressure have excellent communication abilities and encompass 5 years experience withing retail environment.
- Essential: Relevant Tertiary Qualification in either Sales, Business Administration, or Marketing.
- Possess at least 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Preferable: Previous Managerial exposure.
- Valid Drivers License and Vehicle.
- Contribute to strategic plans and identify the regional operational strategy and communicate strategy effectively.
- Guarantee the successful execution of pertinent tactical action plans for branches on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Responsible for driving customer engagement, human capital management and driving operational excellence.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of all necessary operational standards, company policies, and procedures, and ensure that action plans are effectively executed to rectify any deficiencies.
- Ensure proper management and adherence to required standards in all contained areas.
- Implement effective risk management strategies in stores to safeguard company assets, maintain contingency plans for potential risks, and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
- Facilitate the seamless integration of new store acquisitions into the business while ensuring adherence to all operational standards by management teams.
- Responsible for leading, managing, and mobilizing Branch Managers.
- Ensure execution of the strategy in respect of store layout, merchandising, and housekeeping standards.
- Supervise the implementation of the regional strategy to ensure the attainment of profitability and market dominance targets.
- Formulate, implement, assess, and regularly review tactical plans in line with the strategy.
- Submit a monthly report covering all matters relevant to stores.
- Responsible for regional sales, profitability, and margin growth.
- Coach store management to use potential opportunities and market intelligence to achieve and improve budgets and targets to maximize profitability.
- Provide input into budget setting for stores and obtain monthly reports.
- Ensure that stores initiate actions from findings from monthly meetings.
- Drive business development through coaching of store management teams to take action on customer recruitment and improve customer spending through personal involvement in business development.
