Regional Marketing Lead for India, Middle East and Africa

We are seeking an experienced Regional Marketing Lead who understands B2B marketing, ideally in the context of professional service. The role will partner closely with the country and regional leaders across IMEA (India, Middle East and Africa) and be an integral part of growing our business by leading the marketing strategy for the region. The successful candidate will also regularly engage with other BTS Global Marketing professionals to increase brand awareness.

Required Skills And Experience
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing or a similar field
  • At least 8 - 10 years of previous professional marketing experience, with proven experience in marketing planning and execution
  • Experience in B2B marketing
  • Working with clients in or for a professional services organisation or in a HR/internal communications/strategy team role
  • Experience with copywriting and execution of thought leadership communications
  • The ability to connect industry & market trends and apply these in go-to-market tactics
  • Able to think global and act local, adapting global content minimally but to derive maximum impact locally. Always seeking to be efficient but never losing sight of what is relevant to our clients and the local BTS teams.
  • Experience working across multiple geographies/globally.

  • Knowledge of best practice in growing and engaging clients in digital platforms is advantageous
Responsibilities Include
  • Oversee the marketing strategy and plan for IMEA and guide our brand development, POV penetration and new client acquisition.
  • Develop marketing campaigns and help curate content to create demand from clients using both inbound and outbound strategies. Campaigns would include digital, in person events, award events, writing and publications.
  • Plan and oversee lead-generating activities in local offices, in collaboration with local Marketing Specialists and Marketing HQ in the US.
  • Work closely with the Sales Enablement function. Drive activities in this team for proactive leads, prospecting, client data management and engagement.
  • The role also leads marketing for the IMEA region with the support of a marketing coordinator to help execute the plan locally under your direction, while also working with marketing coordinators across IMEA to incorporate country specific needs.
  • Oversee the development of localised BTS websites as required, leveraging the existing global template and approach.
  • Monitor and report on the impact of all the above, demonstrating clear results.
  • Support internal communications and campaigns as required.
  • Track competitor activities related to innovations, publication and strategic moves and use these insights to co-develop our own brand direction.
Leadership Support and Guidance

You will work closely with our three Go to Market Leaders who work to prioritise client needs, content and most critical campaign needs to take to market. You will also work with our Centre of Expertise leaders who develop our point of view and research to inform our work.

The role will also be supported by our Global Marketing teams in the US who do a lot of planning, content production, digital marketing campaigns, website management. A big part of the role will be about repurposing what we have globally, adapting to make it meaningful in our regions, and ensuring local adoption of best practice.
