To direct and control parts operations of a specific region in the company to maximise the return on investment through growth in parts sales and effective management of inventories, staffing and budgets. Attracts, retains and engage with employees in an effective manner.
Requirements
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING
Grade 12
A relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
5 years relevant parts experience of which 2 years as a supervisor or manager.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Oversee the operations of Parts Managers in various regions and provide monthly and quarterly performance reports for their activities.
Provide support to branches to improve efficiencies and profitability.
Ensure customer satisfaction at all times to grow sales and customer base.
Develop and maintain a supplier network to ensure supplier performance is in line with the companys needs.
Build and maintain good relationships with internal and external clients and ensure that client queries and complaints are resolved timeously.
Monitor monthly income and expenses, report any deviations and implement corrective measures where applicable.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES
Good knowledge of MS Office.
Management exposure.
Good knowledge of financial principles and stock control.
Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
Negotiation skills.
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
Good communicator.
Problem solver.
Willing to travel to assigned regional branches.
Business acumen.
Self-motivated.
