As part of the role you will:
- Support our South African business to deliver the Regional People agenda.
- Be the primary point of contact for advice on all People related matters from both colleagues and managers.
- Management of a wide range of HR operational activities.
- Oversee the onboarding of new hires, coordinate and facilitate the induction process.
- Maintenance of HRIS and other people systems.
- Reporting and analytics not limited to headcount, attrition, turnove and absence.
- Drafting and issuing all regional people communications.
- Liaising with Finance on monthly payroll.
- Day-to-day HR administration and other ad hoc projects as required.
- Supporting and collaborating withthe wider EMEA people team, ensuring our HKA values and culture are supported.
Ideally you will possess the following skills and experience:
- 5 years + experience within a HR generalist role working as a Senior HR Advisor or Manager.
- Experience within South Africa as well as the capability to work and support a global business.
- Professionally qualified, preferably CIPD level 3.
- Excellent demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of systems and implementation of procedures.
- A friendly and approachable attitude with the ability to build strong relationships throughout the business.
