Job Summary
The Senior Projects Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful delivery of projects within the account. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and finalize projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, on time, and within budget. The Regional Projects Manager will provide leadership and guidance to a team of project managers, ensuring that projects are aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of project managers, providing coaching, guidance, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to streamline project delivery and improve efficiency.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
- Monitor and control project budgets, resource allocation, and project risks to ensure successful project execution.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring the achievement of project goals and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively taking corrective actions to ensure project success.
- Evaluate project outcomes and conduct post-project assessments to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the project management team.
- Stay updated with industry trends, project management frameworks, and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant knowledge into project management practices.
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of proven experience in managing complex projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and risk management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of project managers.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, such as MS Projects and SAP management software.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional Registration with recognized Project Management or Engineering Association will be advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and work in cross-functional teams.
