Regional Sales Engineer Sub-Equatorial Africa

Valmet Flow Control, a division of Valmet, specializes in providing cutting-edge flow control solutions to enhance the efficiency and performance of industrial processes.

As a Regional Sales Engineer for Valmet Flow Control, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the dynamic Sub Equatorial Africa region.

Based in Johannesburg, you will serve as the key liaison between Valmet and our distributors and end-users, ensuring their needs are met with our comprehensive range of services and products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and end-users
• Representing Valmet Flow Control's entire range of products and services
• Collaborating with sales, operations, marketing, and service teams to meet customer objectives.
• Leading customer account planning to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.

Requirements:

• Solid technical background in instrumentation or mechanical engineering
• Knowledge of valves, actuators, and pumps is advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar sales engineering role
• Fluent in English; French proficiency will be considered a plus.
• Willingness to travel outside of South Africa for approximately 60% of the time.
