Responsibilities
Create and implement sales strategy per product line per segment.
Ensure that budgeted sales are achieved on all product lines monthly and annually.
Manage Sales and Merchadising companies.
Manage all 3rd party distributors.
Ensure high level service delivery.
Costing Models to be created and managed for each product line.
Manage all stock that has been produced for the South African market.
Manage all debtors.
Ensure all price agreements are in place per customer.
Ensure that all customer complaints are handled and that feedback is given.
Ensure that all orders are delivered to the customer.
Ensure that annual customer agreements are in place i.e. trading terms.
Annual advertising and promotions strategy to be created and implemented.
Total above the line advertising has to be managed with service providers.
Manage involved contact groups i.e. VLU, Ambassadors etc.
Manage all exhibitions.
Manage annual budget.
Do monthly and quarterly sales reports.
Management of marketing office overheads spend.
Do total performance management with subordinates.
Requirements
B.Com Marketing Management degree.
At least 8 years of experience in Sales & Marketing.
Shipping experience.
Management experience.
Experience in the FMCG / Perishables industry (in South Africa)
Preference will be given to candidates with Category Management
Must be willing to travel.
Flexible work hours outside normal hours to deal with international clients.
Experience in the food industry.
