REGIONAL TEAM LEADER

As a Regional Team Leader you will be responsible for:

Daily Feed Activity
  • Morning stand-up at 08:00 daily with the team to discuss sales targets and sales output
  • Ensure the Direct Sales Associates (DSAs) vehicles are as per VC absolute rules
  • Ensure all DSA`s are kitted correctly, uniform and presentable
  • Ensure Business Specialists (VBS) are at agreed store
  • Execution: Daily target for visits to be met: 20 Visits per day per DSA (in field)
  • Train DSA`s / VBSs daily on Business Internet product via Teams/On-site
  • Performance Manage Team that are below sales targets
  • Accompany each DSA to customers per day to close of sales process
  • Assist in travel and diary planning and manage monthly travel expenses
  • Daily, weekly feedback sessions to line management on activity and sales performance
Sales Targets
  • Each DSA carries a target of 25 Business Internet sales per month (minimum of 12 BI Wireless, Air or FTTB) subject to change
  • Each VBS carries a target of 20 Business Internet and 10 FTTH subject to change
  • Facilitate the order and quotes and fast track the sales orders for DSAs
  • Monitor sales and visits twice daily 12:00 update and 16:00 update to Sales Administrator
  • Prepare daily feedback to the team on Visits and Sales output
  • Arrange 1 quality activation per week in the defined area with the DSA`s
  • Meet monthly regional target
What are we looking for?

To qualify for this role, you should:
  • Matric
  • Valid Drivers licence and Own reliable vehicle
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity of VPP(Siebel) desired
  • Demonstrated skills and proven experience in Sales and Business Sales Management
  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
  • Good PC skills, MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Decision-making skills
  • Minimum 3 Years proven sales experience
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience within Telecoms or related industr
  • A proven successful sales record
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
