Pediatric Nurse for ChristianaCares 24 Hour Pediatric Care Center
ChristianaCare , the largest health system in Delaware, opened a 24_Hour Pediatric Care Center in 2021 located at our Newark, DE campus. Our Pediatric Care Center was built proudly with the values of Love & Excellence and crafted just for children from newborns to age 18.

Our nurses consistently hold their own practice in high standards: quality nursing care that role models a positive image of nursing. We recognize that teamwork is essential and take pride in our coordination with our Interdisciplinary teams with Physicians specifically trained in Pediatrics and Emergency medicine. Most importantly, we advocate and effectively manage Pediatric patient conditions despite their level of acuity with confidence and experience.

Qualifications Needed:
- Graduate of an accredited, *associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program. *Must commit to achieving a BSN within designated timeframe.
- Minimum of ONE YEAR of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
- Minimum of TWO YEARS for Weekend Incentive Programs!
- Pediatric, pediatric emergency, emergency department or critical care experience preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of DE or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to acquire DE RN License within 90 days of hire date)
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification; ACLS & PALS preferred.
