Key performance areas:
Acquisition of New Accounts
- The proactive mining of defined sources of business to acquire new accounts (Merchant base, Retail base etc)
- Generation and conversion of self-sourced leads through referrals, networks and research
- Reactive acquisition through walk in clients and other means of engagement
- Cross sell of the full investment product suite
- Cross sell of transactional channels like internet banking, cash channels
- Cross Sell of all other related products and services (Forex, Payment solutions, Cash solutions etc) Cross Sell of Banking Products
- Deliver all products and services as a single point of contact to the client through predominantly virtual client engagement platforms.
- The immediate adoption of new clients to the portfolio in a professional and engaged manner
- Taking a proactive approach to client engagement to ensure an optimal client experience across new and existing clients to build meaningful and sustained relationship clients in the portfolio
- Responsible for the origination of lending requests from clients within the portfolio, in line with the credit parameters.
- Provide regular feedback to the client on the status of the credit application
- Provide feedback to clients on the outcome of the application, i.e. Approval/Decline
- Ongoing credit management and monitoring of financial performance of clients within the portfolio which includes:
- Excess management
- Arrear management
- Proactive identification of additional lending requirements
- Build sound working relationships with various Stakeholders, i.e., Credit and Security Admin teams, to ensure process efficiencies and deliverance within prescribed SLAs
- Responsible to execute all functions within the Groups compliance, risk and policy framework.
- The adoption and strict adherence to the Groups processes
- Matric
- Diploma or degree or relevant banking qualification
- Business banking environment including features, benefits and value propositions of products & services
- General banking practices and procedures.
- Credit principles and practices, including an understanding of credit application, securities and balance sheet requirements. .
- The Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) and the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA).
- Administration processes and procedures pertaining to Business Banking transactions.
- Client relationship management and service principles.
- Competitor market product offerings/ channels/ operational and marketing tactics would be advantageous.
45 hour work week - 8 to 5 (Mon to Friday) and every second Sat 8 to 12 on rotation roster (this can be a wok from home if have backup for load shedding).
