The Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the Insurance Industry. The Relationship Manager will work closely with the Product Managers to understand the data and details around lead volumes, lead costs, conversions and profitability as well as insights into why certain campaigns and channels are performing more effectively, while others are not. This insight needs to be taken and shared with the client in meaningful ways, so that campaigns can be optimised from the client perspective. This role will also need to spend time with the call centre to get a sense of how leads are performing, what the blockers are and share insights to improve conversions.
Key Responsibilities
This role is required to:
- Be the face of JAG at meetings and build meaningful relationships with different stakeholders. The key stakeholders include agents, team leaders, campaign managers and marketing managers.
- Conduct weekly client visits to all clients at the clients offices, located across Johannesburg. This includes spending time with key stakeholders as well as spending time on the Call Centre floor to gather a keen sense of the agents and the environment.
- Analyses the data available about clients, leads and campaigns and understand the information so that insights can be shared with the Campaign Manager and Marketing Manager.
- Gather insights from the call centre floor and from stakeholders and see how you can use these insights to optimise performance and conversion.
- Empower the Marketing Manager with insights and data so that campaigns and lead performance can be optimised.
- At least 5 years experience in the Insurance Industry as a Relationship Manager.
- Experience and knowledge of Business Insurance is preferrable, but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of Call Centre environments is beneficial.
- Experience building relationships at all levels within in businesses from junior to senior stakeholders.
