Become one of our Relief Duty Managers and find yourself waking up in different locations from Langebaan to Hermanus and even Camps Bay
This role is best suited for a candidate that enjoys travelling and willing to complete 2 week assignments at various hotels. Accommodation will be provided at most of the hotels.
Previous experience as a Duty Manager / Front Office Manager is essential. Please note due to the nature of the role, anyone with dependents that do not have adequate support will not be ideal for this position as you will be required to be away from home.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Accommodation Certificate/ Hotel School Diploma is advantageous
Work experience:
• Previous experience in the same or similar position in a 4/5 star hotel
• Familiar with all duties and procedures in Front Office Department
• MS Office (Word, Excel and Email) is essential
• Opera experience is essential
• Third language is advantageous

Tasks (include but not limited to):
• Maintaining the most efficient check-in procedure
• Dealing with guests’ problems and complaints
• Ensuring reservations are correct and courteous
• Liaising between reservations and front office staff
• Ensuring accounts are balanced daily
• Managing the arrivals and departures board
• Ensuring there is on-the-job training
SALARY: R6000 - R8000 Per month + Benefits
