Function and Business Unit: Information Reporting in Finance
Description Of The Role And Purpose Of The Job
The Reporting Accountant role is to assist with financial reporting to business functions and client project query resolutions. This includes identifying solutions for problems relating to Finance responsibilities, management accounting and information. Assisting with all processes related to management accounting and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- The provision of sound financial information and comprehensive reporting for offices (including over the borders), functions and business units to support their business decision making processes.
- Ensure compliance with local legislation, KPMG global policies and KPMG SA policies and processes.
- Assist with project opening and attending to queries regarding practice management processes.
- Lockup assist with the review of work in progress reports and debtor balances.
- Budgets and forecasts assist with planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Other ad hoc requirements as requested by the senior finance business partners, finance business partners and financial systems manager within the Finance function.

- B Com or equivalent tertiary qualification.
- Accounting experience minimum 5 years.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Word.
- Oracle knowledge.
- Experience in a professional services firm.
