Job Responsibilities
- Gather relevant information in order to fulfill regulatory requirements
- Evaluate opportunities to improve business processes and systems by identifying and recommending effective approaches to operate and adding value
- Identify and resolve business problems timeously by analyzing data and reports from various sources
- Provide meaningful recommendations, explanations and highlight anomalies by analyzing and interrogating information
- Ensure that financial business analysis is conducted in line with set standards.
- Enhance processes, policies and procedures
- Ensure understanding and compliance
- Manage defined risks and risk categories at targeted levels by adhering to guidelines, policies, procedures, business rules, compliance and governance requirements.
- Must have BCom Financial Management
- Ideally a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) is advantageous
- 3+ years experience in Consulting and/or Financial services environment
- Financial risk management advantageous
- Developing methods to minimize process and reporting risks
- Data Analysis, Governance, Risk and Controls experience
- Financial services regulatory knowledge
