Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in something interesting from a reputable university
- 2-3 years of experience in a research role, preferably in an area of expertise that focuses on the energy industry across Africa
- Advanced Research and Insight Extraction: Conduct in-depth research by analysing comprehensive reports and synthesising actionable insights. Expertise in curating and compiling data from diverse databases to inform strategic decision-making
- Techno-Economic and Financial Modelling: Develop sophisticated techno-economic and financial models to evaluate the viability and impact of projects. Employ advanced analytical techniques to forecast trends, assess risks, and optimise financial outcomes
- Strategic Proposal Structuring and Writing: Craft compelling and meticulously structured project proposals. Demonstrate proficiency in articulating complex concepts and aligning proposals with strategic objectives to secure funding and stakeholder support
- Thought Leadership in DRE: Author insightful articles and opinion pieces on Decentralised Renewable Energy (DRE) in Sub-Saharan Africa. Provide expert commentary and analysis to shape industry perspectives and drive thought leadership
- Innovative Project Planning and Time Management: Design and execute comprehensive project plans with precision. Employ cutting-edge time management techniques to ensure timely delivery and successful project outcomes, optimising resource allocation and workflow.
