Your primary role is to conduct research studies on animals for veterinary drug development under strict adherence to site Standard Operating Procedures. Such studies will need to comply with Global Clinical Practice or Good Laboratory Practice guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and planning of product development. Ensure efficient, accurate trial work.
- Take the lead in the writing of Standard Operating Procedures, study protocols and study reports.
- Minor financial administration including (but not limited to)
> loading purchase orders,
> ensuring vendor delivers quality products.
- Taking the lead in the lifecycle maintenance of certain parasites.
- Assist in the conduct of parasite assays to measure resistance for clients.
- Maintain good housekeeping in certain areas allocated under your responsibility.
- Grade 12
- B. Tech. or B. Sc. degree in any biological sciences (Veterinary Technology is preferred).
- Good computer literacy including MS Word and MS Excel.
- GLP/GCP research environment preferred.
- Parasite lifecycle maintenance preferred.
- A good communicator with strong integrity.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good attention to detail.
