Our client based in Cape Town specialise in private villa rentals, offering an extensive array of handpicked properties. Their focus is luxury villas and other beautiful properties located throughout Southern Africa and they are looking for an experienced Reservations Consultant to join their team.
Reservations and Guest Relations:
Assisting with quotes
Recording details of telephonic and other requests
Emailing information to clients (agents and direct)
Following up on sent quotes.
Communicating details to of bookings to property owners
Completing administration documentation to agents
Dealing with requests for additional services, eg chef, concierge services.
Preparation and sending of final documentation and re-confirmation of booking to guests and agents.
Product:
Providing the MD with assistance on all product listings and management of listing agreements
Co-ordinating all listing details, such as images or photo shoots (If required)
Liaising with owners when asked to by MD.
Ensuring accurate details are displayed on the website and updating when necessary.
Handle new portal listings as part of product.
Rates:
Sourcing rates for all products including external suppliers
Maintaining an up-to-date internal master rate sheet
Preparing the new season's master rate sheet RACK and STO rate sheets
Portal administration:
Maintaining accurate records of all listings on other portals
Updating details, including facts and availability, on these portals when necessary
Handle new portal listings as part of product.
Duties are not limited to the above and may include additional tasks from time to time.
Requirements : Experience in the tourism industry or tourism qualification advantageous
Strong administration skills
Excellent communication skills
Systems driven.
Knowledge of Nightsbridge
Computer skills including MS Office
Attention to detail.
Goal oriented
Team player
Willingness to handle after hours calls and check ins on rotation basis.
Own transport essential
Valid drivers licence
