Restaurant Head Chef-Rosebank

New Upmarket Restaurant opening in the Rosebank area has a Head Chef position open. Looking for individuals with 6+ years relevant head chef experience and a formal cooking/culinary arts qualification. Must have experience in an a la carte Restaurant environment. Must be able to coordinate and manage a complete kitchen operation. Main duties will include food preparation, food quality control and general kitchen management. Looking for someone who is passionate, hardworking and able to work under pressure. Experience in setting up a new kitchen will be beneficial. Looking for someone who is skilled in general kitchen administration and who is able to run a pass. Applicants must be strong in managing and training a kitchen brigade. Strong stock management and cost control skills required. This is a cooking and management role. The client is looking for someone aged 25 to 35. Salary R 20000 - 25000 K CTC.
