- Excellent verbal and written and communication skills are essential to the position.
- Applicant must have previous experience (minimum 2yrs) in a similar position, and preferably possess recognized training in the the culinary field (Hotel School Graduate or equivalent).
- A creative, organised and feminine touch will give you edge in meeting the needs of our prospective brides and discerning guests.
- The ability to multi-task, co-ordinate, delegate and manage staff will stand you in good stead in the simultaneous management of the restaurant and function-venue.
Job responsibilities:
- Promoting the venue and expansion of our Client Base (social media etc.)
- Meeting and engaging with bridal couples/ wedding planners in integrating the food element, decorative element, running order etc. of the event.
- An effective and timely response to all customer inquiries, and business leads.
- Giving your unadulterated focus and attention in meeting our guests' requirements, ensuring a positive customer experience from beginning to end.
- The simultaneous management of front-of-house, back of house, in respect of both the restaurant and function-venue. This is includes, but is not limited to: client liaison, marketing, planning, supply-chain management, stock-counts, cash-ups and managing staff.
