Experienced retail leasing administratoris required in Midrand to report to retail leasing portfolio manager and to assist senior leasing administrator.
Job requirements:
- 5-10 years mall retail mall lease administration experience.
- Reliable / preferably own transportation a necessity.
- Processing of lease enquiries and a good understanding of standard retail lease clauses.
- Computer literate.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Accurate filling, thus ensuring all in order for auditing purposes.
- Able to compile accurate and up to date detailed weekly and monthly Leasing Reports.
- Willing to work long hours if / when required and assist where necessary.
- Must be able to work independently, yet as part of the team.
- Self-driven and motivated personality, but prepared to work hand in hand with current well- experienced Lease Administrator.
Job responsibilities:
- Will be required to assist with numerous mall’s leasing admin nationally.
- Drafting and full comprehension of offers, lease approval documents, lease agreements (stores, kiosks, parking, storerooms), amendments, cessions, etc.
- Loading of lease agreements on the internal system.
- All/any journal entries required/amendments made on the internal system.
- Collecting all necessary tenant documents and FICA requirements.
- Credit checks and deed searches.
- Maintaining an up to date accurate Tenant Database.
- Deal with new enquiries in order to ascertain if viable, then hand over to the Leasing Manager.
- Prepared to assist with any other reasonable request / requirement from Leasing Manager or Mall General Manager.
